About Me
I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where I was born and where I grew up. I am a Townie. My husband and I have an amazing son who loves math and is a great swimmer, baseball, basketball, chess and piano player. We have three precious dogs. One came home with me from Nepal in 2009, one is perhaps from Mexico (rescued by Sasha Farm in 2016), and one (70 lbs) came to us from relatives in 2021. When home with my loving family and animals, I spend time watching the wildlife outside the large windows facing our back woods. When not distracted by squirrels, birds, chipmunks and deer, I strive to type up 30-plus years of handwritten travel journals while also scrolling through photos, drawing pictures, making earrings and making dinner. As a day job, I enjoy guiding adventure trips to Nepal, Peru and other parts of the world. I also welcome guests at my short-term, vacation-rental near downtown Ann Arbor. My drawings and travel photography (among other things!) grace the walls at my rental house as part of the Everything's Artwork Collection. I hope you enjoy this online, virtual gallery!
